“I don’t know where we’d be without her!

As a mom of two very active kids and working full time, I was struggling to keep up with the normal goings on of a home, especially cooking for my family. Fast food was quickly becoming a staple in our daily routine and when it wasn’t fast food we were reaching for prepackaged meals that were quick to put together but not very nutritious.

And then I found Amy. Having her come into our home and cook nutritious and delicious meals for us has been a total game changer.

We work together to create a meal plan that fits my family's hectic schedules and satisfies all.

Now, instead of asking for McDonald’s every day, my son asks for Amy’s chicken and dumpling soup and banana chocolate chip muffins."

About me

Hi, I'm Amy Marshall!

I'm a registered dietitian, private cook, and a Winnipeg mother to two.

Growing up, I always had an interest in cooking. As a child, watching and learning to cook from the matriarchs in my family always brought me joy.

As a teenager, I was fascinated by cooking shows on the Food Network. Recently, I filmed two cooking segments on CTV news - it felt like a full circle moment!

Heading into university, I found my niche in nutritional sciences - an intriguing mix of human physiology and nutrition, food science, food service, and food preparation.

During my studies, I enjoyed working in a commercial kitchen where I gained skills in cooking a variety of foods on a large scale.

My work as a dietitian has allowed me to develop skills in supporting people with diverse and complex needs. I help people discover ways nourishing their bodies in a way that is manageable and enjoyable.

Cooking for my own young family has been a learning curve as well!

I use all of my skills and experiences to support others who struggle with the overwhelm and demands of kitchen tasks.

Let's chat to see if my team and I can meet your needs in the kitchen.

Hi, I’m Frances Dyck!

I have been surrounded by homegrown, quality foods my whole life. Growing up on an organic vegetable farm gave me not only a deep appreciation for whole foods but also hands-on experience in how to cook with them. Much of what I know about cooking comes from my mom and brother, who are both incredible chefs and my biggest inspirations in the kitchen.

I love exploring new recipes, reimagining classic dishes, and tailoring menus to fit the unique tastes and dietary needs of my clients. Cooking with whole, high-quality ingredients is at the heart of what I do, and I enjoy getting creative to craft meals that are as nourishing as they are flavorful. My goal is to bring a personalized touch to every plate, making mealtime effortless and enjoyable so you can savor every bite without the stress of cooking.

For me, food is more than just sustenance—it’s an experience, a way to bring people together, and an opportunity to create something truly special. I look forward to sharing my love of cooking with you and creating meals that bring comfort, joy, and connection to your table.

Hi, I’m Geri Schreyer

I studied food science and worked in the food safety field at a large food processor for about 8 years before becoming a stay at home mom with my 2 kids. Now, I help manage our family businesses, including a small farm!

While at home, I expanded my garden and loved being able to cook fresh and delicious food using ingredients from the garden. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen to find family favourites. During this time at home, I also increased my kitchen skills to include food preservation skills such as dehydrating and safe home canning.

The world of food has always been interesting to me. I loved reading recipe books and trying new recipes, even as a preteen and teenager. That love of food led me to working with food, in some capacity, most of my adult years!

Hi, I'm Sonya Jantz!

My love for cooking and good food has come from years of experience making food for my own family, for guests at our family-run Bed & Breakfast, and for families that I have the honour of supporting as a postpartum Doula.

I have learned so much and enjoy sharing a kitchen with my mom, sisters, friends, co-parent; who have imparted their kitchen wisdom and skills on to me.

One of my greatest joys comes from preparing healthful and appetizing meals for the families that I support. It can be difficult and stressful to muster the time, energy and inspiration to prepare nourishing food when there are so many other demands on your time and energy. I've been there!  And yet eating nourishing food is so vital to our health and wellness.

I am known for pouring over cookbooks in search of inspiring, new ideas, and continually learning and experimenting with how to optimize nutrition and flavour in the food that I grow, prepare, eat and share!

It is fun and interesting to collaborate with clients to come up with menu ideas that they are excited about.

I am grateful for this opportunity to help ease the load for busy families by creating beautiful and nutritious food for their enjoyment and sustenance.
